365 Days In Nature - March 21

As we leave Castaway Cay, we can see some of the plant life that has yet to recover from its encounter with Hurricane Sandy, two months earlier.

365 Days In Nature - March 2

And we are back on Castaway Cay in the Bahamas. The overcast, cool, windy environment on the beach at Serenity Bay has made me decide to take a hike down one of the island's paths to see what is growing here. Hurricane Sandy has taken its toll here as well, and a lot of the island's growth had turned brown, but Disney Horticulture has worked its magic and the island is looking lush again - among the still recovering flora that is still to be seen.

365 Days In Nature - February 28

Since it was a bit cool and windy on the beach, I decided to take a walk along a path on the island to see what was growing there.

365 Days In Nature - February 25

I love the colors of the water as we look out from Serenity Bay at Castaway Cay in the Bahamas - even on a day like this was.
