Back in the 1990's, in the days that my son was playing baseball, we used to come here and spend some time in this batting cage. This was part of an entertainment complex that had much to occupy folks with some time for some good old fashioned fun.
A number of years ago, the company which leased the land from the city, ended their contract, and the entire complex fell into disuse and disrepair. (The city is currently taking bids for a new concessionaire to do something with this parcel of land.)
Over the next few days, we will have a look at it as it is today.
